Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite

As the Head of Contracts Management you will lead the transformation and consolidation of contract strategies within the Economy and Environment department.
This is a pivotal interim role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape the future of contract delivery, ensuring alignment with broader commercial objectives and regulatory compliance.
 
Your role as Interim Head of Contracts Management:

• Lead the development and consolidation of contracts management strategies across the department.
• Collaborate with the Director of Commercial Services to align contract activities with council-wide commercial goals.
• Engage with key stakeholders to identify and integrate additional major contracts.
• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Manage and mentor the Contracts Management team to deliver high-impact outcomes.

 
Your previous experience as Interim Head of Contracts Management:

• Proven experience in contracts management, ideally within the public sector.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
• A strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
