Are you ready to step into a Programme Manager assignment where your work will directly shape outcomes for children and families? As a Programme Manager, you will sit at the centre of a high-profile transformation, reporting into the SRO and working closely with senior leadership to drive meaningful service reform. This is a fast-paced opportunity where your ability to bring structure, pace, and influence will be key to delivering real impact across Children’s Services.

In this Programme Manager role, you will take ownership of complex workstreams, strengthening governance and ensuring delivery remains aligned to reform principles. You will play a critical role in service redesign, ensuring programmes are not only delivered but embedded effectively across the organisation.

Your role as Programme Manager:

• Drive workstream coordination across a complex transformation programme
• Manage and escalate risks, issues, and interdependencies to senior stakeholders
• Strengthen programme governance and support key strategic forums
• Produce clear, impactful reporting for leadership and the SRO
• Collaborate across teams to deliver sustainable service redesign

Your experience as Programme Manager:

• Proven track record delivering complex transformation programmes within a local authority or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or equivalent methodologies
• Expertise in risk management, governance, and stakeholder engagement
• Confident building relationships and influencing at all organisational levels
• Demonstrable success in driving meaningful change and service improvement
