EHC Plan Coordinator

I am working with a council in the Midlands who are currently recruiting for an Interim EHC Plan Coordinator to join the team.

Initial 10-12 week contract
5 Days per week
£260 per day
Fully remote
Inside IR35
Start January 2025
 
Skills : SEN, EHCP, Drafting plans, Casework, Assessments
 
Teams Interviews to be held w/c 6th January
 
In your role as a EHC Plan Coordinator, you will be working within a backlog team and writing new EHC plans and finalising draft plans.
 
In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working within SEN in a local authority setting, along with experience writing initial EHC Plans.
 
Requirement: EHC Plan Coordinator

• Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
• Experience working within SEN/D in a local authority setting
• Writing draft plans and issuing final plans
• Reading all reports received as part of the EHCNA process and communicating with parents and dealing with panel summaries
• Identifying and interpreting key information, combining, writing and summarising to produce a high quality person-centred EHCP.
• Carrying out the casework associated with the statutory assessment 20-week process.
• Preparing cases for a placement decision at panel and coordinating consultations.
• Moderating funding decisions
• Managing multiple timescales and working accurately and at pace
