Are you an experienced Deputy Residential Home Manager looking for your next interim leadership opportunity? This is a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Residential Home Manager to play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care and positive outcomes for children and young people within a residential setting. As Deputy Residential Home Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager, providing operational leadership, championing safeguarding excellence, and helping to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

This role offers the chance to make a genuine difference while developing and supporting a dedicated staff team. If you’re a proactive Deputy Residential Home Manager with strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and a passion for improving outcomes for young people, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Role as Deputy Residential Home Manager:

• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day leadership and running of the home
• Lead, supervise and develop staff through effective supervisions, coaching and performance management
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards and safeguarding requirements
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, incident management and behaviour support strategies
• Build positive relationships with social workers, families, education providers and partner agencies

Your Previous Experience as Deputy Residential Home Manager:

• Experience working within a children’s residential care setting in a senior or deputy management capacity
• Strong understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, safeguarding and Ofsted expectations
• Experience leading teams, conducting supervisions and supporting staff development
• Ability to manage safeguarding concerns, complaints and complex incidents appropriately
• Enhanced DBS and willingness to undertake a DVLA check, with flexibility to travel using work vehicles when required

You will primarily be based within the residential home environment, with flexibility to work from home on occasion where operationally appropriate.
