Baltimore consulting are currently supporting our client a London borough who require a Contract Delivery and Quality Manager to manage multi-million pound: mechanical and electrical services; responsive repairs, maintenance and servicing; planned maintenance and refurbishment work that achieve outcomes

Your role as the Contract Delivery and Quality Manager:

• Manage and commission a variety of high-value contracts, including mechanical and electrical services, planned maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered to time, budget, and quality standards, including feasibility studies, procurement, and cost control.
• Provide technical and strategic advice on building surveying and compliance matters across council teams and to external stakeholders.
• Lead on-site inspections, work valuations, and the preparation of detailed maintenance schedules and programmes.
• Manage capital and revenue budgets, ensuring value for money and effective budgetary control.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that meet statutory and customer-focused objectives.

Your previous experience as the Contract Delivery and Quality Manager:

• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical services, building construction, maintenance techniques, and building regulations.
• Proven experience in building surveying or M&E management, particularly within the housing/property sector.
• Strong project management skills, including experience in contract administration, risk assessment, and budget management.
• A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge of health and safety regulations, including CDM and asbestos awareness.
• Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work flexibly using mobile technology.
