Building Safety Project Manager – (Resident Engagement)

£400 per day negotiable

Initial 3 month contract

Inside of IR35 (Umbrella)  – London

 

Baltimore consulting are currently supporting our client a London borough council who is looking for someone to support and deliver the Councils Building Safety Resident Engagement Strategy on an interim basis for an initial 3 month period with the view to extend.

Your role as the Building Safety Project Manager – (Resident Engagement):

  • Supporting and acting as a key member of the Building Safety Team, responsible for building safety across all the Council owned and managed housing assets
  • To review and amend as required the Building Safety Resident Engagement Strategy
  • Liaise with the Building Safety Regulator as necessary
  • Work with the Housing Resident Engagement team to support the High-Rise Living residents group
  • Prepare and issue resident communications to support Building Assessment Certificate applications.
  • Liaise with internal council teams, residents, contractors and consultants.

Your previous experience as the Building Safety Project Manager:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years experience working in private/public sector in a property maintenance, housing or construction environment
  • Significant demonstrable experience of building regulations and the requirements of the recent Building Safety Regulations
  • Clear understanding of the requirements of the Building Safety Bill and other emerging requirements, regulations and guidance.
  • Strong Project Management, stakeholder engagement and resident engagement skills
  • A driver with access to your own vehicle
