Are you an experienced SEN Annual Review Officer ready to hit the ground running this summer? This is your opportunity to take ownership of the full Annual Review process, working in a highly autonomous, fully remote environment where your expertise will directly impact outcomes for children and young people. As a SEN Annual Review Officer, you will sit at the heart of statutory SEND services, ensuring Education, Health and Care Plans are maintained, compliant and outcome-focused ahead of the critical September period.   You’ll play a vital role in managing complex casework, collaborating with multi-agency professionals and supporting families with clarity and care. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy seeing cases through end-to-end, this SEN Annual Review Officer position offers immediate impact and strong continuity through the academic year.  

Your role as SEN Annual Review Officer:

  • Lead the end-to-end Annual Review process, ensuring compliance with statutory timeframes
  • Coordinate multi-agency input, including EPs, schools and health professionals
  • Maintain and review EHCPs to a high-quality standard
  • Provide clear communication and guidance to parents, handling sensitive cases with empathy
  • Support placements, transport requests and case progression for looked-after children

Your previous experience as SEN Annual Review Officer:

  • Proven experience managing EHCP Annual Reviews within a Local Authority setting
  • Strong understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 & SEND Code of Practice
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and efficiently
  • Confident working with multi-disciplinary stakeholders and complex cases
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and statutory deadlines
