I am currently working with a council based in the North West who are seeking an experienced Alternative Provision Consultant for a 3 month contract.
Some onsite work doing face-to-face meetings and visiting providers within the county will be required. The rest of the work could be done remotely.
In order to be considered for the role of Alternative Provision Consultant, you must have a proven track record working within Behaviour & Attendance, School Improvement or Inclusion, at a senior level.
This work will focus on consultancy and advice rather than direct line management and will therefore be outside of IR35.
Requirement – Alternative Provision Consultant

Short-term consultancy needed on alternative provision linked to the proposals in the SEND and AP Green Paper

Therefore, our client needs some short-term consultancy to help them do the following:-

  • Quick review to ensure a common understanding of the situation as at present
  • Link the proposals in the Green Paper with the possibilities for the county
  • Support the council to identify and develop options
  • Develop the model for the transition regarding the proposals in the SEND and AP Green Paper
  • Develop a blueprint for developing and implementing the model

It is expected that the work will be concluded by the end of July or soon after.
