Charmaine Vincent to judge Bristol Life Awards

Charmaine Vincent, award-winning owner and CEO of Bristol based recruitment company, Baltimore Consulting, has been announced on the judging panel at the 2023 Bristol Life Awards.

The Bristol Life Awards are a business highlight of the city. They are the most prestigious, most tightly contested Awards with the greatest number of local companies involved.

Nearly 300 businesses entered this year’s awards, and the winners will be crowned on March 16th in a spectacular in-person black-tie gala evening at Ashton Gate in Bristol.

Charmaine Vincent, of Baltimore Consulting, set up the business to become the Senior Appointment and niche recruitment experts to the Public Sector, with a passion for making a difference to people’s lives within the community.

CEO, Charmaine Vincent, states:

“As a passionate business owner, located in the heart of Bristol, it’s a real privilege to be on the judging panel of the Bristol Life Awards this year. Giving back to the community is embedded in our DNA and having the opportunity to recognise other businesses across the city for their contributions to their people and wider community, is a real honour. I’m looking forward to celebrating and sharing the success stories of the elite businesses this city proudly has to offer.”

The business has been on an upward trajectory since founding but have truly come into their own after completing a management buyout in 2018, whereby CEO, Charmaine Vincent, took full ownership of Baltimore Consulting. Since then, the female entrepreneur has won multiple awards and has grown the business to what it is today whilst boasting a 95% staff retention rate.

As a business, Baltimore Consulting have been announced as finalists in both the Civic category, and the People Services category at this year’s Bristol Life Awards after winning the latter in 2022.

Charmaine is incredibly proud to have built a credible business with a strong moral compass.

The People Services category recognises the work of businesses who put people at their core; those that know how to get the very best out of their most important assets.

The Civic Award highlights the contribution of an organisation which has improved Bristol this year, through a new initiative which makes our city better, commitment to helping develop others, or notable charitable work.
