This year we’ve teamed up with local children’s charity, Community of Purpose. The team here at Baltimore Consulting are sponsoring the charity’s “Break Free” programme; a school holiday activity programme that targets holiday hunger by providing high-quality activities and free food for young people aged 8-13 across areas with the most need in Bristol.
Off the back of this partnership, our incredible team have had the opportunity to volunteer for the Break Free programme during the school holidays. Yesterday, our Head of Marketing, Lauren Cox headed to We The Curious in Bristol, helping the charity to support 42 children and enjoyed a great day out.
Community of Purpose transform the lives and futures of young people by creating purposeful partnerships so that businesses and the community thrive.
The children’s charity delivers a number of impactful programmes that engage hard to reach groups, enhance community cohesion, improve social mobility as well as celebrating the incredible achievements of young people who have overcome adversity to achieve great things.
Baltimore Consulting are a purpose-led recruitment business in the heart of Bristol that services vulnerable subject areas across social care and education provisions within local authorities, such as SEN, mental health, children’s safeguarding and disabilities across adult social care.
Supporting the local community is incredibly important to us, and continuing to support causes that are close to our hearts is the foundation upon which Baltimore is built.
Involvement in these projects allow us to support communities that are culturally, economically, and geographically disadvantaged.
92% of children that participate in these programmes are eligible for free school meals, with a further 5% of these children considered to be at risk.
This partnership will also allow staff to utilise their volunteering time to build upon their experiences helping people within the business come together and develop their soft skills.
