As Service Director – Economy, Property and Regeneration (Interim), you will play a pivotal role within a forward-thinking senior leadership team, driving economic growth, attracting investment, and delivering transformational regeneration programmes that will leave a lasting legacy for communities and businesses alike.

Your Role as Service Director –

  • Lead the delivery of ambitious economic growth, regeneration and inward investment strategies
    • Drive major capital projects, property initiatives and infrastructure programmes that support long-term prosperity
    • Secure and maximise external funding opportunities from regional, national and international sources
    • Build influential relationships with developers, investors, businesses and strategic partners to deliver priority outcomes
    • Provide strategic leadership across service areas, ensuring strong performance, transformation, governance and risk management

Your previous experience as Service Director –

  • Extensive senior leadership experience within economic development, regeneration, property or place-based services
    • Proven track record of securing significant external funding and delivering high-value programmes and projects
    • Strong experience working with elected members, senior stakeholders and partnership boards
    • Demonstrable success leading organisational change, service transformation and commercial initiatives
    • Relevant professional qualification or substantial experience operating at a comparable strategic leadership level
