This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile Children’s Services team, reporting directly into the Head of SEN and Performance Research Manager, where your expertise will help drive evidence-based decision making and improve outcomes for children, young people and families.   As a SEND Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting SEND and Children’s Services through the development of innovative reporting, analytics and business intelligence solutions. This is an opportunity to influence service improvement, support statutory reporting requirements and ensure inspection readiness through high-quality data products.   Your Role as SEND Business Intelligence Analyst:

  • Design and deliver innovative Power BI dashboards, reports and analytical solutions
  • Develop and optimise SQL queries across complex datasets to deliver actionable insight
  • Translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions
  • Analyse SEND and Children’s Services data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and improvement areas
  • Build strong relationships across Children’s Services and develop expertise in SEND data and processes

Your Previous Experience as SEND  Business Intelligence Analyst:

  • Significant experience developing complex SQL queries and working with large datasets 
  • Strong track record of building engaging Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions 
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical and analytical products
  • Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into intelligence products
  • Background in performance reporting and data analysis within local government, education, SEND or children’s services environments would be highly desirable
