Hybrid Working | 2 days on site (can be reduced once established)

As SEND Team Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving improvement, strengthening statutory performance and delivering positive outcomes for children, young people and their families. Joining at an important stage of service transformation, you’ll lead a dedicated team, oversee complex casework and help shape the future direction of the service. This is an opportunity for an experienced SEND Team Manager who enjoys balancing operational leadership with service improvement. You’ll be trusted to deliver meaningful change, support staff development and ensure statutory responsibilities are met to the highest standard.

Your Role as SEND Team Manager: • Lead and inspire a team delivering high-quality SEND statutory assessment services
• Drive improvements in statutory timescales, performance and case quality
• Oversee complex caseloads, allocations and workflow management
• Support key service improvement and transformation programmes
• Ensure safeguarding, compliance and continuous performance improvement across the service

Your Previous Experience as SEND Team Manager: • Minimum 1 year’s management experience within a Local Authority SEND service
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, statutory processes and best practice
• Proven ability to improve performance, manage workloads and deliver change
• Experience of multi-agency partnership working and stakeholder management
• Confidence managing complex, sensitive and high-risk cases within a statutory setting
