Are you an experienced Special School leader ready to take on a high-profile role? As Head of Service & SEND Advisory and Training Service (SENDATS), you will lead a multidisciplinary team of over 100 professionals, oversee an £8m budget and drive strategic SEND provision for a Special Childrens Centre
 
Your Role as Head of Service & SEND Advisory and Training Service (SENDATS):

  • Lead and develop 100+ specialist staff across SEND services
  • Drive SEND strategy, service improvement and inclusion initiatives
  • Manage performance, quality assurance and service delivery
  • Oversee an £8m budget and ensure value for money
  • Build strong partnerships across education, health and social care

Your Experience as Head of Service & SEND Advisory and Training Service (SENDATS):

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and degree-level qualification
  • Senior leadership experience within SEND, education or specialist services
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory responsibilities
  • Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and organisational change
  • Proven budget management and performance improvement expertise
