EHC Plan Writer – Annual Reviews

As an EHC Plan Writer, you will play a pivotal role in managing statutory assessments, producing high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans, and working closely with families, schools, and partner agencies to deliver person-centred outcomes, reporting into a SEND Manager for Annual Reviews.
 
In this role you will manage a designated caseload, coordinate advice from a range of professionals, and ensure statutory timescales are consistently achieved.
 
Your Role as EHC Plan Writer Annual Reviews:

  • Writing, updating and maintaining high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) from multi-agency advice and assessments
  • Managing statutory assessment timelines and monitoring new needs assessments from submission through to completion
  • Building strong relationships across services to ensure effective multi-agency collaboration
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting statutory reporting requirements

 
Your Previous Experience as EHC Plan Writer Annual Reviews:

  • Experience writing EHC Plans and supporting children and young people with SEND
  • Knowledge of SEND legislation, the Children and Families Act 2014, and the SEND Code of Practice
  • Proven experience working within local government, education, public sector, or similar environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and multi-agency partners
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain a person-centred approach
