Are you an experienced Senior EHC Coordinator looking for your next contract opportunity where you can make an immediate impact? As Senior EHC Coordinator, you will lead and support a team of 8 Case Officers while overseeing a key area of SEND delivery focused on Primary Phase Transfers. 
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior EHC Coordinator who enjoys balancing operational leadership with hands-on casework, ensuring children and families receive high-quality support throughout the EHC process.
 
With a manageable caseload alongside leadership responsibilities, this role offers the chance to influence service performance, develop staff capability, and drive positive outcomes across a busy SEND function. Your Role as Senior EHC Coordinator:

  • Provide line management and leadershipto a team of 8 Case Officers.
  • Oversee and coordinate Primary Phase Transfersto ensure statutory timescales are met.
  • Manage a small complex caseloadof EHC plans and annual reviews.
  • Support service improvement through quality assurance and performance management.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes.

 
Your Previous Experience as Senior EHC Coordinator: 

  • Proven experience working within a Local Authority SEND Service.
  • Strong knowledge of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)and statutory processes.
  • Experience of managing or supervising teamswithin SEND services.
  • Demonstrable success delivering work linked to phase transfers and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
