Looking for a senior leadership opportunity where you can genuinely shape the future of Children’s Services? As Interim Programme Lead – Children’s Social Care Transformation, you will report directly into the Assistant Director of Transformation and lead a high-profile portfolio spanning service redesign, financial sustainability and system-wide improvement. Managing a team of senior programme professionals and overseeing significant transformation activity, you will play a pivotal role in delivering better outcomes for children, young people and families while driving a major programme of change.

Your Role as Interim Programme Lead – Children’s Social Care Transformation:

• Lead a high-profile transformation portfolio focused on service improvement, efficiency and sustainable change
• Drive service redesign, governance and programme delivery across multiple workstreams
• Provide leadership to programme, transformation and project teams, promoting accountability and innovation
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and partners to deliver system-wide collaboration and improvement
• Utilise data-led decision making and financial analysis to maximise outcomes and value for money

Your previous experience as an Interim Programme Lead – Children’s Social Care Transformation:

• Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programmes within Children’s Services, local government or a related sector
• Strong experience delivering service improvement, operational change and financial efficiencies
• Extensive knowledge of programme management, governance and organisational transformation
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, members and partner organisations
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a matrix and politically sensitive environment
