Reporting into the Executive Director for Housing, you will oversee a broad portfolio spanning repairs, capital investment, asset strategy, and building safety, leading multiple Heads of Service and managing significant budgets.

Your role as Director of Housing, Property and Investment:

• Lead strategic delivery across repairs, maintenance, capital programmes, and building safety
  • Drive a data‑led asset management approach to optimise housing stock performance
  • Ensure full statutory compliance across building safety, M&E, and regulatory frameworks
  • Oversee large‑scale investment programmes, improving housing quality and sustainability
  • Champion resident‑focused services, increasing satisfaction and trust

Your previous experience as Director of Housing, Property and Investment:

• Senior leadership experience across housing property, asset management or development
  • Strong track record delivering capital programmes and compliance at scale
  • Deep knowledge of building safety, housing legislation, and regulated environments
  • Expertise in financial management, HRA planning, and value for money delivery
  • Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams and complex transformation programmes
