Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to join their team.

Our client is looking to become a trusted name in adolescent childcare, treating each individual with respect and understanding, regardless of their background.

As a Registered Manager, you will:

  • Oversee a 4 bedded children’s home in a rural area, which they are looking to expand to 7 beds
  • They are also looking to open a second home in the vicinity
  • Manage a team to deliver high-quality care
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the home
  • Produce, update, and monitor plans and reports
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team
  • Represent the company professionally to outside agencies and within the local community

Package and Benefits:

The Registered Manager role comes with an attractive package, including:

  • Annual salary of £65,000 with potential bonuses
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Ofsted Report Bonuses: £2,000 for a good report, £3,000 for an outstanding report.
  • Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

 

The ideal Registered Manager will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the last 5 years in a relevant position.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising and managing care staff.
  • Recognised social work qualifications (QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent).
  • Thorough knowledge of Children’s Home legislation and Ofsted inspection requirements.
  • A valid manual driving licence and own car with business insurance.
  • Ability to undertake on-call duties.
