Your role as a Building Control Surveyor:

• Carry out plan checking on a wide range of construction projects to ensure compliance
• Conduct site inspections and enforce building regulations across developments
• Provide expert advice to stakeholders via phone, email, and face-to-face
• Assess and manage dangerous structures safely during working hours
• Support team development, mentoring trainee and assistant surveyors

Your experience as a Building Control Surveyor:

• Hold BSR Registration (minimum Class 2A, ideally 2F) – essential
• Have corporate membership with RICS, CABE, CIOB or equivalent
• Demonstrate strong independent working and decision-making ability
• Solid understanding of Building Regulations & Building Safety Act
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and business insurance
