Are you an experienced Team Manager ready to take full ownership of a high-performing Looked After Children service? This is your chance to step into a pivotal Team Manager role where you will lead from the front, overseeing a busy team, managing complex caseloads, and driving performance to ensure exceptional outcomes for children and young people. Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for service delivery, staff development, and operational excellence, making a real impact from day one. Your role as Team Manager:
• Lead and manage complex cases and referrals within the Looked After Children service
• Drive performance, quality assurance and audits to meet national standards
• Provide strong leadership, supervision and staff development across the team
• Oversee resource allocation and budget management to maximise efficiency
• Champion service improvement and partnership working with key agencies

Your experience as Team Manager:
• Qualified Social Worker with strong post-qualifying experience in Children’s Social Care
• Proven track record in team leadership and staff supervision
• In-depth knowledge of child protection legislation and care management
• Experience in performance management, audits and quality assurance
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage budgets and drive outcomes

As a Team Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping service delivery and ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities while supporting and empowering your team to achieve excellence.
