This is an opportunity for someone who wants long‑term ownership, real accountability and work that genuinely makes a difference. Reporting into a senior service manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering multiple live construction schemes within a high‑profile capital programme, primarily across the education estate.
You’ll take control of projects at build stage, acting as the client‑side lead and the single point of contact for consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders. With external teams delivering much of the technical detail, your focus will be on programme, cost, risk and stakeholder management – ensuring schemes are delivered on time, within budget and with minimal disruption.
This role suits someone who understands how public sector projects really work. You’ll be trusted to manage competing priorities, handle political and stakeholder challenges, and keep momentum moving in an environment where no two days look the same. There is a strong pipeline of work, a supportive team culture and enough autonomy to make this role both challenging and rewarding.
