Job Title: Team Manager Adult Safeguarding, Quality Assurance & DoLS
Contract Length: 12-month assignment
Location: South Coast based Local Authority, Full time hybrid
Pay rate: £42 per hour
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
 
I am currently working with a South Coast based Local Authority in their search for an experienced Local Government Adult Social Care Safeguarding professional for 12-month contract to join as their Team Manager.

Overview:

Reporting to the Principal Social Worker, this opportunity will be managing and leading the councils safeguarding, quality assurance and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) team.
As the council is focused on delivering their Adult Social Care Strategy, this role is vital in assuring future quality of services for CQC inspection, as well as leading on high-quality services to the council residents.

To be considered for the Safeguarding Team Manager opportunity, you will have/be:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Care England Registration
• Have experience in leading on safeguarding within a local authority adult social care setting.
• Line management experience in previous role/s
