SEN Data Officer
Initial 3-month interim contract to start late July 2025

£400 per day
Inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Hybrid working (1 day per week on site)

We are currently supporting a North London Local Authority in their search for an experienced SEN Data Officer to join the team on a full-time, hybrid basis. This role will play a key part in driving performance insight, statutory reporting, and data intelligence to support SEND service delivery and improvement.
 
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will lead on the development of a live Local Area SEND dashboard, contribute to national returns, and ensure data accuracy across systems and reports.
 
Your Role as SEN Data Officer:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of a live SEND Local Area dashboard – ideally in Power BI.
  • Extract, analyse, and report on service outcomes and performance indicators.
  • Support statutory returns including the DfE SEN2 and submissions linked to Delivering Better Value (DBV) and the DSG Management Plan.
  • Work closely with partners to benchmark data against regional and national standards.
  • Maintain and support the SEN case management system (Synergy) to ensure data integrity.
  • Provide insight to inform service planning, performance management, and inspections.

 
Your Previous Experience as a SEN Data Officer:

  • Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development, ideally within SEND or Local Government.
  • Advanced skills in tools such as Power BI, Excel, and data visualisation platforms.
  • Experience managing and submitting statutory returns such as SEN2.
  • Knowledge of SEND services, processes, and performance frameworks.
  • Experience working with Synergy or similar case management systems.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a hybrid environment (1 day per week on site)
