Senior Finance Business Partner – Children’s Services
Pay rate – £600-£650 per day (inside IR35)
Initial 3-6 month contract
Midlands
Hybrid working (ideally 3 days on site)

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Children’s Services, the Senior Finance Business Partner plays a strategic leadership role within the finance function. This position is responsible for delivering high-level financial analysis and reporting to support strategic planning and business decision-making. Key responsibilities include managing financial models, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Finance Business Partner:-

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to corporate directors, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards while overseeing financial accounting processes.
  • Lead initiatives to improve financial services and operational efficiency across the organisation.
  • Managing 3 other senior commercial business partners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all financial communications.

Your Previous Experience as Senior Finance Business Partner:-

  • Proven experience in a finance-related role with a strong background in financial management and accounting.
  • Fully qualified is essential either CIMA or ACCA
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in guiding teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, along with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams
