A Local Authority in the Midlands is looking for an experienced Head Teacher to lead a maintained primary school, which includes a dedicated SEND unit. You will lead the school, fostering a culture of high expectations, continuous improvement, and inclusive excellence. You will be responsible for driving forward the strategic development of the school, with a particular focus on expanding and enhancing its SEND provision, while ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes across the board.

Your Role as a Pimrary Headteacher:
 

  • Provide strong, inclusive leadership that inspires and motivates staff to create an environment where every child can thrive.
  • Develop and implement a clear strategic vision for the growth and enhancement of the school’s SEND provision.
  • Ensure the curriculum is current, engaging, and accessible to all pupils.
  • Lead on transforming school practices and services to meet the evolving needs of the school community.
  • Uphold and meet the National Standards of Excellence for Headteachers, modelling integrity and accountability.

 
Your previous experience as a Primary Headteacher
 

  • Proven experience as a Head Teacher with a strong understanding of Primary School leadership.
  • A deep and practical knowledge of SEND, with a commitment to inclusive practice.
  • Demonstrated success in driving school improvement with a positive approach.
  • A track record of service development to meet changing educational needs.
  • Experience in managing budgets effectively and strategically.
