Programme Manager – Resident Services

£500 – £600 per day (DoE)

As Programme Manager for Resident Services, you will be responsible for leading and delivering key transformation programmes across waste, fleet & city services, regulatory services, leisure services, and parking & traffic management. Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll ensure strategic objectives are met on time and within budget.

Your Role as Programme Manager – Resident Services:

  • Lead end-to-end programme delivery, ensuring ambitious outcomes are achieved.
  • Work through complex issues, applying a pragmatic and solution-focused approach.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Oversee governance, financial management, and strategic alignment.
  • Ensure deliverables and outcomes are met within set timescales.
  • Manage on-site pressures sensibly, balancing business needs with hybrid flexibility.

Your Previous Experience as Programme Manager – Resident Services:

  • Proven experience at Programme Manager level, managing high-value programmes (£1M+).
  • Strong leadership in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Ability to work at pace, solving issues and removing barriers to progress.
  • Experience delivering transformation programmes, ensuring measurable impact.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Resilience, positivity, and the ability to navigate high-pressure environments.
  • Prior experience working within local government is beneficial.
