Job Title:                                  Public Health Analyst

I am currently supporting a local authority in the East Midlands in their search for an experienced Public Health Analyst with a proven track record in intelligence to join the team and to support the Public Health Intelligence Team in identifying and delivering public health information needs, working in conjunction with colleagues on major Public Health projects such as Joint Strategic Needs Assesments. 
 
 
Your duties as a Public Health Analyst:

• Provide public health intelligence expertise for the directorate
• With your contribution you will help inform priorities for action and contribute a wider understanding into these areas of public health for the authority.

Experience needed as a Public Health Analyst:

• Have demonstrable past experience and understanding of Local Authority, Public Health and Integrated Care Systems.
• Experience analyst with an ability to provide insight into data to inform decision making and help develop evidence-based approaches.
• Be a strong communicator with in-depth working knowledge of public health intelligence within a local authority public health setting, as well as understanding of other public sector organisations cultures, structures and policies.
• Able to provide minimum three year’s worth of references.
