Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering high-quality housing services?

To report into the Director of Housing Management, we are seeking a Head of Housing Management to lead and develop key services, including anti-social behaviour management, tenancy sustainment, tenancy checks, and environmental improvements.

You must have been a HOS within a Local Authority or Housing Association to be considered for this role.

About the Head of Housing Management role:

• Collaborate across departments and work closely with senior leaders to support the development and delivery of council services.
• Oversee the design and implementation of housing management services for residents, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead on anti-social behaviour initiatives, tenancy sustainment programs, and environmental improvements to enhance community well-being.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks governing social housing and stay ahead of industry best practices.
• Embed a culture of customer service excellence, ensuring high-quality, value-driven outcomes for residents.
• Manage operational activities within a complex and diverse service area, ensuring professional standards and continuous improvement.

 
Your previous experience as a Head of Housing Management:

• Proven experience in a Head of Service role within a Local Authority and social housing environment.
• Ability to hit the ground running
• In-depth understanding of social housing regulations and the evolving policy landscape.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive service improvements.
• A proactive approach to service innovation, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
• A relevant professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Institute of Housing) is desirable.
