Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for inclusion and supporting vulnerable young people? This is an exciting opportunity for an Inclusion Advisory Teacher to join a well-established Inclusion Advisory Service, providing specialist support to schools with a focus on Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), behaviour support and exclusion prevention.
 
As an Inclusion Advisory Teacher, you will play a key role in helping schools build inclusive practice, supporting staff to develop effective strategies and improving outcomes for pupils who need it most. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact through a funded “test and learn” initiative with the potential for future extension.
 
Your Role as an Inclusion Advisory Teacher:
• Provide specialist advice and guidance to schools on SEMH, inclusion and behaviour support
• Deliver coaching and practical support to teachers, helping build confidence and capability
• Model effective classroom interventions and behaviour management strategies
• Deliver targeted intervention programmes to support vulnerable pupils and prevent exclusions
• Produce clear, high-quality non-statutory reports to support school improvement and pupil outcomes
 
Your Previous Experience as an Inclusion Advisory Teacher:
• Experienced teacher or advisory teacher with a strong track record of supporting schools
• Strong knowledge of SEMH, trauma-informed practice and inclusive approaches
• Experience implementing behaviour support strategies that improve engagement and outcomes
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people to succeed
• Ability to build positive relationships and influence practitioners at all levels
