Are you an experienced Interim SEND Case Officer looking for your next contract opportunity? As an Interim SEND Case Officer, you will manage a full caseload of EHCPs, including complex cases, annual reviews and phase transfers, helping to ensure children and young people receive the support they need. If you are a proactive Interim SEND Case Officer who can hit the ground running and confidently manage competing priorities, this could be the perfect role for you.
 
Your Role as Interim SEND Case Officer:

  • Manage a full school allocation caseload across a range of settings.
  • Handle complex SEND cases and provide effective case management throughout the EHCP process.
  • Lead and coordinate annual reviews, ensuring compliance with statutory timescales.
  • Support and deliver phase transfer work during a key period of activity.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families and key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

 
Your Previous Experience as Interim SEND Case Officer:

  • Proven experience working as a SEND Case Officer within a Local Authority setting.
  • Strong understanding of EHCP legislation, statutory processes and SEND frameworks.
  • Experience managing complex casework and challenging stakeholder discussions.
  • Knowledge of annual reviews and phase transfers within education services.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload whilst maintaining quality and compliance.
