Are you an experienced 0–8 Reviews Case Officer looking for your next fully remote interim opportunity? We are currently recruiting for two 0–8 Reviews Case Officer positions with a Midlands-based Local Authority, offering the chance to make an immediate impact within a busy SEND service.

As a 0–8 Reviews Case Officer, you will play a key role in supporting children, young people and families by managing statutory review processes, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and delivering high-quality outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team during a period of sustained demand, where your expertise will be valued from day one.

Your Role as a 0–8 Reviews Case Officer:
• Manage a caseload of annual reviews for children aged 0–8 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to SEND legislation and timescales
• Liaise with parents, schools, professionals and key stakeholders to coordinate review activity
• Draft and amend EHCP documentation following review recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and deliver high-quality case management throughout the review process

Your Previous Experience as a 0–8 Reviews Case Officer:
• Previous experience working as a 0–8 Reviews Case Officer within a Local Authority SEND service
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP review processes
• Proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads and competing priorities
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working remotely and using case management systems effectively
