We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from within our Baltimore Consulting family; Nikki Smith has been promoted to Divisional Manager of Social Care!
Nikki’s journey with us began in 2020, right in the middle of the national lockdown. Starting as a Consultant in the Adult Social Care team, she quickly made her mark with her strategic thinking, collaborative spirit, and unwavering commitment to making a difference. Over the past five years, Nikki has earned three well-deserved promotions, most recently following the successful re-launch of our Housing, Property, and Regeneration division earlier this year.
In her new role, Nikki will continue to lead the evolution of our Social Care division, with a strong focus on team development and service excellence. Under her leadership, the division has already achieved an impressive 20% growth in H1 2025 GPPW, delivering impactful outcomes across public health, safeguarding, and learning disabilities.
Her consultative approach and deep market knowledge have helped build strong, lasting relationships with clients – particularly across London and the Home Counties. With nearly 60% of her assignments at senior leadership level, Nikki has consistently delivered high-value results in some of the most complex and sensitive areas of public sector recruitment.
“I’m incredibly proud to step into this new role,” Nikki shared. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to drive meaningful change and continue to work with the team to deliver services that truly make a difference. I’m looking forward to challenging myself and continue pushing boundaries to achieve growth both professionally and personally.”
Nikki’s promotion is a reflection of our commitment to recognising and nurturing talent from within. It also speaks to our wider mission: empowering people to achieve great things, both in the public sector and within our own team.
Our highly experienced Social Care division work nationally within adult social care, children’s services and social housing.
