This Voids Surveyor role is focused on the efficient turnaround of void properties within a busy Social Housing environment.
Reporting directly to the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for ensuring properties are surveyed, specified, and brought up to a high-quality lettable standard at pace.

About the Voids Surveyor role:-

• Case Management: Ability to manage a high-volume workload of 50–60 cases simultaneously, ensuring no delays in the re-letting process.
• Schedules of Works: Create robust, accurate, and detailed Schedules of Works to guide contractors effectively.
• Standard Compliance: Ensure all works meet the required lettable standards, focusing on safety, quality, and statutory compliance.
• Contractor Oversight: Work closely with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure works are completed on time and within budget.

Your previous experience as a Voids Surveyor:-

• Social Housing Expertise: A strong background specifically within Social Housing Voids is essential.
• Technical Qualification: Must hold an HND in Surveying or a related field (RICS is not required for this post).
• Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar surveying role.
• Delivery Focused: Proven track record of managing property handovers and ensuring “move-in ready” quality.
