Job: Service Delivery Manager – Children’s Residential
Location – Yorkshire
Rate of Pay: £53,000 – £60,000 PA + benefits
Permanent contract.

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Delivery Manager to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of children’s homes. This role is pivotal in ensuring high standards of care, compliance with statutory duties, and continuous improvement across residential services.
 
Your Role

  • Lead the strategic and operational management of children’s residential homes across the City and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted frameworks, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, and all statutory requirements.
  • Drive continuous service improvement and embed a culture of high performance, learning, and accountability.
  • Champion safeguarding and anti-racist, inclusive practice across all services.
  • Manage budgets effectively and deliver value for money within financial regulations.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders, including elected members, MPs, and multi-agency teams.

 
Your Experience

  • Level 5 or above qualification in a relevant subject and significant senior management experience in residential care.
  • Proven track record of achieving good or outstanding Ofsted outcomes in children’s homes or regulated settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and associated legislation.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in driving change and improving standards.
  • Ability to manage complex priorities, influence stakeholders, and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to restorative and relational practice and promoting the voice of children and young people.
