Service Manager – Children’s Safeguarding
Southeast England
3-month initial contract
Inside IR35 £400 – £450 per day (via umbrella)
Full time (hybrid working)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Manager Children’s Safeguarding (CIN & CP)
 
Your duties as Service Manager – Children’s Safeguarding:
 

• Provide expertise to Child Protection and Children in Need services.
• Provide respectful and appropriate challenge around decision making practice and support development
• Ensure development of effective CP chair scrutiny of plans with a focus on outcomes focused planning
• Provide additional support to managers re practice (although this is not an operational role)
• Review practice policies and procedures to support developments needed so that these are aligned

 
Experience needed as Service Manager – Children’s Safeguarding:
 

• More than 2 years’ experience at a minimum of Service Manager level within Safeguarding
• Active Registration with Social Care England
• Demonstrable experience working in Child Protection and Children in Need services
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding practice and what Good looks like
• Available references for most recent 2 year’s roles.
