This is a rare opportunity to step into a high‑impact leadership role where your influence will be felt across services, communities and partnerships. As Director, Adult Social Care, you will report directly into the Corporate Director and provide strategic leadership across a complex, high‑profile portfolio supporting some of the most vulnerable adults. You will lead large multidisciplinary teams, oversee significant budgets and drive strengths‑based practice at scale, ensuring statutory duties are met while accelerating improvement, inclusion and outcomes.
This role is about visible leadership, pace and purpose. You will shape culture, set direction and ensure services are person‑centred, preventative and enabling, with a relentless focus on tackling inequality, embedding anti‑racist practice and delivering joined‑up support across organisational boundaries.
