Baltimore Consulting is working with a Local Authority based in Yorkshire that will allow you to be part of something genuinely transformative. You’ll join passionate, committed colleagues who are delivering meaningful change for children and families across a district as rich in diversity as it is in landscape. Here, your contribution really matters — you will be directly involved in improving lives, strengthening families, and helping shape the service that the Children and Families deserve.

About the Role

We are seeking talented, child‑centred Social Workers to join the expanding Children in Care Service, now restructured to span ages 0–18 across 10 new teams. This change provides greater continuity, stronger relationships, and better long‑term outcomes for children and young people.

This is a vibrant, culturally rich city with a strong sense of community. You’ll be part of a supportive professional network working together to create positive, lasting change. With a permanent and stable senior leadership team, you’ll benefit from consistency, clear values, and a strong organisational vision that prioritises relational and restorative practice.
The latest Ofsted visit recognised the progress that’s being made, and improvements are exceeding expectations and ahead of schedule. There has never been a better time to join. This experience could truly be career-defining and transformative.

  • Provide emotional and practical support, helping children and young people build resilience and navigate challenges.
  • Work towards permanency and outstanding outcomes through high‑quality, relationship‑based practice.

The approach is rooted firmly in restorative and relational practice, built on trust, respect, and collaboration.
