SEND Transformation Lead
3 month interim contract
Inside IR35 – £500 per day
South West, Local Authority – Primarily Remote
August start

We are currently working with a busy South West Council is seeking an experienced SEND Transformation Lead to steer a city-wide strategy that delivers excellence in education, inclusion, and support for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Your duties as a SEND Transformation Lead:

• Driving inclusion and improvement across SEND services
• Support the SEND & AP Delivery Board alongside the general SEND & Inclusion Strategy
• Reporting directly to senior leaders and contributing to strategic governance
• Overseeing delivery under the Safety Valve programme and DSG Deficit Management Plan

Experience needed as a SEND Transformation Lead:

• Proven success in leading SEND transformation within local government or large systems
• Mastery of project methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, MSP)
• Proven  leadership across complex teams and stakeholder groups
