Are you ready to step into a role that genuinely shapes outcomes for children and young people with SEND? As the SEND Team Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of Senior EHC Coordinators, EHC Coordinators, Assistants and an apprentice—driving excellence in statutory delivery, decision making, and high‑quality EHC planning. You’ll take ownership of the Reviews Team, setting the tone for practice standards, motivating staff, and building trusted relationships with parents, schools and partners. Your Role as SEND Team Manager:

• Lead and motivate a multi‑disciplinary EHC Team, driving high‑quality performance
• Oversee EHC plan reviews and ensure full compliance with statutory responsibilities
• Take the lead on complex cases, modelling excellent casework practice
• Drive effective decision making using strong assessment and professional judgement
• Build confidence with parents, schools and partners through clear, impactful communication

Your experience as a SEND Team Manager:

• Senior‑level experience implementing the SEND Code of Practice 2014
• Proven ability to supervise and develop SEN Caseworkers
• Resilient, solution‑focused leadership under pressure
• Ability to present complex data and clear reports to managers and partnership board
• Strong judgement to make needs‑led decisions for children and young people
