Assessment Hub Lead – SEND Team Manager
£44,246 – £50,076 | Full-time Permanent
Kent, Hybrid (3 days office/week)

We’re working with a Local Authority who are seeking a confident, experienced leader to head up a busy SEND assessment team.

As the SEND Team Manager you will:

  • Oversee the statutory 20-week EHC process
  • Chair decision-making panels
  • Ensure EHCPs are consistently high-quality, child-focused, and legally sound
  • Be responsible for team development, performance, and strategic service improvement—using data, insight, and collaboration to drive outcomes

As the SEND Team Manager you will have:

  • Strong SEND knowledge and local authority experience – experirence managing complex caseloads
  • Proven leadership in managing teams, budgets, and service delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A sharp eye for quality assurance and statutory compliance
