SEND or Inclusion Project Lead – 2x Roles

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND and Inclusion Project Lead to join our Children and Young Person’s Programmes Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving change and delivering impactful outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

As a SEND Project Lead, you will: 

  • Collaborate with the programme team to develop and implement the Families First Strategy, improving outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and their families. 
  • Use data, insights, and evidence to deliver social care improvement projects that enhance services for children and families. 
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen early intervention and prevention services within the social care framework. 
  • Ensure that changes positively impact families and align with their needs. 
  • Support service areas and partnership networks in designing and implementing sustainable improvements. 
  • Provide a solution-focused approach to implementing national reforms and local improvements. 
  • Manage a portfolio of social care projects, planning and monitoring progress over short-, medium-, and long-term timeframes. 
  • Prepare reports, updates, and evaluations of projects for governance structures, highlighting outcomes for families. 

 Your previous experience as a SEND or Inclusion Project Manager: 

  • A suitable professional qualification at postgraduate level or equivalent experience in a relevant area of work. 
  • Evidence of continuing professional development in a management or similar role. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of legislation, guidance, and national policy frameworks relevant to children’s services. 
  • Proven leadership qualities and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff. 
  • Experience in managing services, implementing service improvements, and effective performance management.
