SEND Case Officer – Early Years Team
Location: London Local Authority (1 day on-site per week)
Contract: 3 months
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £290 per day (Inside IR35)
 
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SEND Case Officer to join As Early Years Team in a London Local Authority. You will manage a caseload of children aged 0-8 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), coordinating assessments and developing Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) in compliance with statutory requirements.
 
Your role as a SEND Case Officer – Early Years Team:

• Coordinate EHCP assessments, gathering information from families and professionals.
• Draft and review EHCPs, ensuring timely completion within statutory deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with families, educational settings, and health and social care services.
• Ensure compliance with the Children’s & Families Act 2014 and the SEN Code of Practice 2015.
   

Your requirements as a SEND Case Officer – Early Years Team:

• Proven experience as a SEND Case Officer, particularly within Early Years.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and attend on-site in London one day per week.
