SEN Case Officer
3 month initial contract (with view to extend)
5 Days per week
£290 per day (Via Umbrella, Inside IR35)
London Local Authority – Remote Working

 
Teams interviews taking place on week commencing 15th September, with a start soon thereafter.
 
In your role as a SEN Case Officer you will manage a caseload of EHCPs, ensuring that statutory obligations are met, and outcomes for children are maximised.

This will be either within the Pre-14 or Post-14 teams. You will also be dealing with all statutory processes, communication and queries post assessment including annual reviews and phase transfers. Experience of working on complex cases will be important too. 
 
In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working within SEN in a local authority setting, along with experience of drafting initial plans, amending plans and holding a caseload of annual reviews.
 
Requirement: SEN Case Officer

  • Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience working within SEN/D in a local authority setting
  • Experience working in assessments and annual reviews
  • Experience drafting and amending EHCP’s
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with families, schools, and professionals.
