SEN Officer Pre-14

Location: North East London
Hybrid: 2 days on-site per week
Contract Length: 3 months
Day Rate: £290 per day
Start Date: 17th March
 
We are seeking an experienced SEN Officer (Pre-14) to a London Local Authority on an interim basis. This role is crucial in supporting children and families while ensuring the quality and finalization of EHCP assessments.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of approximately 200-220 cases.
• Working closely with parents and carers to prevent complaints.
• Ensuring EHCPs are completed to a high standard and finalized in a timely manner.
• Collaborating with internal teams, including senior officers and agency managers.
   

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of SEN processes for children under 14.
• Ability to build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Experience in EHCP assessments and finalization.
• Previous experience as a Pre-14 SEN Officer is desirable.
