I am working with a council in the Midlands who are currently recruiting for an Interim SEN Case Officers to join them & work within their Assessments Team.
 
SEN Case Officer (Assessments Team)
3 month initial contract
5 Days per week
£250 per day
Fully remote

Teams Interviews to be held on Wednesday 16th April
 
In your role as a SEN Case Officer – Assessments Team, you will be working within a team and working the whole EHC needs assessment process from start to finish.
 
In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working within SEN in a local authority setting, along with experience writing initial drafts and amending EHC Plans.
 
Requirement: SEN Case Officer – Assessments Team

  • Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience working within SEN/D in a local authority setting
  • Reading all reports received as part of the EHCNA process
  • Identifying and interpreting key information, combining, writing and summarising to produce a high quality person-centred EHCP.
  • Carrying out the casework associated with the statutory assessment process.
