We’re currently recruiting for an RI for Children’s Residential services in based in Manchester (with Homes across Merseyside and Sheffield) within a Private Provider.
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Private Provider in the North West for an RI for Children’s Residential. You will report to the Head of Operations, and the key focus of this role will be to oversee a remit of 6x Homes, one of which is fully set up and the others are in process.
 
About your duties as the Responsible Individual – Child Residential, Children’s Social Care: 

• To lead and manage the development and shaping of the homes, ensuring dynamic plans for the children and young people.
• Holding the Responsible Individual role for the Provider
• Ensure the Homes are Ofsted inspection ready
• Responsibility for identifying the complex needs of the children and young people and providing additional therapeutic support when required.
• Safeguarding and promotion of well-being for those who reside within the home.
• Ensuring the home complies with the Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations (2015)
• Ensuring that the staff have training and development opportunities to enable them to be fully skilled within their fields and understand what Ofsted “Good” looks like

 
Your experience needed as the Responsible Individual – Child Residential, Children’s Social Care: 

• Ideally have a Level 5 Children’s Home Management Qualification.
• Must have been a Service Manager or Registered Manager (with Ofsted) previously.
• Proven track record improving Children’s Home practice
• Must have experience of leading a home through an Ofsted inspection.
