Registered Manager – Children with Disabilities Service
Location: North East UK
Salary: £400 – £450 per day, inside IR35
Contract: 3-month contract initially

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to lead a well-established, close-knit team providing short breaks and specialist care for children with complex needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a service with a strong reputation and high expectations for quality and outcomes.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care and support.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.
  • Drive continuous improvement and embed best practice across the service.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with parents and carers, balancing sensitive and complex needs.
  • Manage change effectively while maintaining stability and high standards.
  • Promote a positive, fun, and engaging environment for children and staff.

 
What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a short breaks or disability care setting, ideally with a track record of service improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills – firm but fair, approachable, and able to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care procedures.
  • Ability to manage delicate relationships with families and stakeholders.
  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding care and committed to our values.
