Registered Children’s Home Manager
Initial 3-month interim contract (likely at least 6 months)
Yorkshire, full-time
Up to £450/day Inside IR35 and paid through FCSA Umbrella

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Local Authority in the Yorkshire for a Registered Children’s Home Manager for a 3x bed Home. You will report to the Service Manager for Children’s Residential and the key focus of this role will be to register and improve the Ofsted rating for the Home.
 
About your duties as the Registered Children’s Home Manager, Children’s Social Care: 

  • To lead and manage the development and shaping of the home, ensuring dynamic plans for the children and young people.
  • Ensure the Home is ready for an incoming Ofsted Inspection
  • Safeguarding and promotion of well-being for those who reside within the home.
  • Ensuring the home complies with the Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations (2015)
  • Ensuring that the staff have training and development opportunities to enable them to be fully skilled within their fields and understand what Ofsted “Good” looks like

 
Your experience needed as the Registered Children’s Home Manager, Children’s Social Care: 

  • Must have a Level 5 Children’s Home Management Qualification.
  • Must have been a Registered Manager (with Ofsted) previously.
  • Worked as a Registered Manager within the past 3 years ideally
  • Proven track record as Registered Manager in a children’s home.
  • Have an understanding of what “Good” looks like.
