Your role as Registered Building Inspector:
• Lead technical plan appraisals and detailed site inspections
• Manage a full professional caseload of Class 2 projects (2D–2E)
• Deliver remedial and enforcement actions under senior supervision
• Maintain comprehensive regulatory documentation and audit‑ready records
• Support Team Managers and Principals while guiding Class 1 Inspectors
Your previous experience as a Registered Building Inspector:
• Registered at minimum Class 2D, with competence across 2B–2F
• Membership of RICS, CABE, CIOB or similar professional body
• Strong record in issuing professional recommendations and completion certificates
• In‑depth knowledge of Building Regulations, construction practice and legislation
• Technical background ideally including Local Authority frameworks and the Building Act 1984
